Fariba's Bridal Alterations & Custom Design was founded in Richmond, VA by Fariba Azimi in 2010. Fariba is a professional you can trust with over 25 years of experience. Fariba's firm understanding of fit and shape has led her to open her own bridal alterations and design business. Fariba now leads a team of talented seamstresses in one of Richmond's top bridal alteration businesses.
It is our mission to make sure every bride looks as great as she feels. Bridal alterations allows a dress to be tailored and customized to each individual bride. It is our pleasure to be a part of each of our bride's special day.
Fariba's line of hand made bridal accessories include veils, bridal belts, hair pieces, and custom flowers.
We have brides from all over the east coast including Washington DC Metro area, Charlottesville, North Carolina, and all over the east coast. .

We offer spacious dressing rooms for bridal, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and flowergirl. Our shop also houses our collection of bridal veils, and bridal accessories rentals.

We love Fariba's! From the start, they gave us such a transparent quote for all the alterations we made on my mom's wedding dress, and the end result was perfect! They transformed the dress while still maintaining it's original integrity. They even managed to lengthen the dress, and you couldn't tell at all!
